Dr. Timothy S. Stuart

Tim is the Executive Director of R&D and Strategic Programs at Singapore American School. Formerly the high school principal of Singapore American School and Jakarta International School, Tim is the co-author of the books Children At Promise and Raising Children At Promise, Published by Jossey-Bass in 2003 & 2005. Tim grew-up and studied in France and Germany and considers himself a Global Citizen. He holds an Ed.D. from Seattle Pacific University, an M.Ed from The College of New Jersey, and a B.A. from Wheaton College.

Tim is passionate about maximizing authentic student learning and equipping today’s youth for the future. He believes that international school students are uniquely poised for significant contribution and leadership in the Global Community.
