Since my introduction to oceanography at the U.S. Naval Academy I have been fascinated by the immense diversity, and interconnectedness of the ocean and the earth. I am pursuing a doctoral degree at Scripps Institution of Oceanography to participate at the forefront of oceanographic discovery.
