Tim is the co-founder of a strategic foresight consultancy that leverages the union of consumer anthropology and data science to advise global clients on cultural trends and their impact on innovation.

Tim is the co-inventor of a patented methodology of Culture Mapping that analyzes patterns in linguistic data using computational linguistics and machine learning to visualize trend narratives and forecasts. The methodology is published in the 10th edition of Prentice Hall's Consumer Behavior textbook and Springer's Journal of Design Thinking and has helped clients like BTF Media, Campbell’s, IKEA, NIke, Hilton Hotels and Honda develop a variety of strategic frameworks to support creative growth and sustainability.

Tim is also a frequent speaker on design and innovation at conferences such as SXSW, KODW in Hong Kong and has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Financial Times, Advertising Age and Quartz.
