Tim Weir

My name is Tim Weir. In my current role, I assist the East Divison with the implementation and Deployment of Restaurant Department Management (RDM) with McDonald’s Corporation in Oak Brook, Illinois. My adventure with this wonderful company began 21 years ago, starting as a crew person in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As most people in this company, I have held many different positions, from a crew person, to an Operations Supervisor, Field/Business Consultant, Marketing Manager, Hamburger University Professor and now the RDM Deployment Lead for USTL&D; supporting the East Division. I have traveled to more than 26 countries of this great world, many of them with McDonald’s. Some of the highlights of my adventures have included managing a McDonald’s Restaurant that had sales over 8 million dollars a year, opening the first Kosher McDonald’s outside of Israel, to facilitating Marketing Seminars in Bangkok, Thailand and Singapore. I’m married with three boys. Matias and Lucas, both avid sports players, were born in Argentina and Tobias, our youngest, in the USA. My wife, Lucrecia, also from Argentina, stays home with the boys and manages all their myriad of activities. I received my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Syracuse University. I’m very excited to continue with my Master’s and hope to decide upon a specific concentration at some point.
