For 16 years, I was the design editor at FSA (now Capitol Information Group), publishers of Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street and Louis Rukeyser's Mutual Funds. The journalists came to depend on me to edit their work into language that investors could understand—and present the data with graphics that made the information even clearer.

I returned to CIG from 2013 to 2017, and served as Design Editor for the company’s flagship newsletter, Personal Finance, as well as Utility Forecaster, Global Income Edge, Canadian Edge, Australian Edge, Pacific Wealth, Growth Stock Strategist, Global Income Edge, Profit Catalyst Alert and Breakthrough Tech Profits.

At the Office of Naval Research (ONR), I was the editor of ONR's weekly newsletter, the Snapshot. I managed all aspects of the publication: theme development, article sourcing and writing, editing, fact checking, design and layout.

While communications director at a local country club, I designed and created all print and online materials and managed the club’s website. I developed its online reservation system, bringing more members to events and making event management easier and more cost effective. Website usage more than doubled during my tenure, and I saved the club thousands of dollars a year by bringing documents online.

As editor and production manager for a 13 state newsmagazines, I created an online production schedule and ensured the virtual production team kept to deadlines. When I took over this job, all 13 newsletters blasted on schedule for the first time.
