Tina-Gaye "Bernie" Bernard

Tina-Gaye “Bernie” Bernard is a cosmetic marketing consultant, instructor, inspirational speaker, ethnic beauty expert, and Bikram yogi.

Her diverse expertise in brand management, profitable execution of promotions, and forecasting analysis has been built at Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial firms including American Express, Citigroup, The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., Clinique Laboratories, LLC, Sue Devitt Beauty, and Matrix, LLC for L'Oreal USA. Additionally, she founded COCOACHiC, an ethnic beauty content and empowerment initiative.

She holds a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology and former adjunct professorship at the college in Marketing for the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing undergraduate program. She received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration from The University of Florida.

Aside from her professional endeavors, her affiliations include Cosmetic Executive Women, The Junior League, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She exercises her physical astuteness as a practicing Bikram yogi.

She has served as an avid community volunteer, mentor, workshop facilitator, guest lecturer, and panel moderator for over 15 years, speaks publicly at universities, and contributes commentary on the cosmetic business and women of color beauty space to industry and lifestyle media.
