Tish Valles

A global strategic planner, social entrepreneur and storyteller, I am driven to better connect brands and businesses to the cultural narrative. I wrote the strategy that launched one of the first culturally connected online campaigns for Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty in Southeast Asia. In 2006, I wrote the brand vision for and co-founded the Women’s Worldwide Web, a social enterprise that aims to shift the stories of the world’s women and girls by empowering them with economic freedom, education and community.
As a strategist and innovator, I bring a breadth of corporate and entrepreneurial expertise. In my corporate life, I have been Asia Pacific Regional Planning Director on Unilever Brands (Dove, Pond’s and Comfort) at Ogilvy, and North America Planning Director on Tide for Saatchi NY. As an entrepreneur, I have been an independent consultant for the past seven years, with clients including multinational agencies, medium sized digital agencies and boutique agencies. For four years, I ran the New York hub and for Big Green Door, working on global projects.
In my pursuit to participate in and drive the culture narrative within my immediate community, I volunteer as an organizer and Programming Director at TEDxNewYorkSalon–the most active and longest running TEDx program in New York.
American born of Spanish-Filipino origin, I have lived and worked in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe & the UK, and the UAE. Multi-ethnic, multicultural and multilingual, I am currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
