I believe that each child is unique and needs to be in an environment where they can grow and mature physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. I believe that children are our future. I was born and raised in a small town called Warrenton North Carolina. I am the oldest of two children. I graduated from Warren County High School in 1996. I entered the workforce working two jobs at a Home Health Care Agency and Walmart. I realized that I wanted more out of life and I had a feeling that something was missing. I knew I had a passion for helping people and children. After working in Manufacturing for ten years I decided to enroll at Vance Granville Community College and majored in Early Childhood Education. Being the first person in my family to attend college and obtain a associate degree was awesome. I then decided that I can't stop now so I enrolled at North Carolina Central University in the Spring of 2013 majoring In Family and Cosumer Science.
