I aspire to entertain and entertain the idea that I can inspire and impact people through the stories I tell and things I create. I’ve always wanted to captivate large crowds, whether it was by being a basketball player, professional wrestler, author, or actor. I dreamt of being on a stage making all of these people laugh, cry, and cheer at the things I would say or do. The world was an empty score, ready for me to write my melody.
Speaking of melodies, I love various genres of music, my favorite being rap (that is rap with lyrical mastery and impressive flow not incoherent shouts over a bombastic beat). I know piano (mostly church music) and used to play alto saxophone. The guitar is an instrument I've always desired to learn, especially Spanish guitar because it is more portable than a piano and I would like to bring music wherever I go. The way feelings and thoughts are conveyed through music can be incredible and I admire anyone with the ability to write good songs.
However, the way I want to entertain is through television. More specifically, writing for cartoons and television. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of reading, but when a visual medium is added to a story through the use of drawings, actors, or computer effects, it enhances the tale making it more enjoyable for me personally. Unfortunately, I can’t draw. So instead, I plan to write those stories and have someone else draw them for me. My end goal is to work for Cartoon Network as a writer, producer, and creator of many beloved cartoons.
