Always an artist and a potter, I want to do both. I received my Bachelors in Art in Illustration. I paid my way by being a potter.

I think it has always been my destiny, I ended up being an artist/teacher in a jail In Los Angeles County. I could tell you stories but most of all I learned that anyone can be your teacher. I learned so much about art in jail.

I am inspired by nature and whimsy. I love fantasy art and I want to incorporate that into my pottery. Check out my face plates and then you will see. Or look at my teapots, that have that whimsical idea of nature. I love to make my pottery look like it just got picked off the vine, or plucked out of the sky.
