Hey Everyone-my name is Tom Foley. I have lived in the town of Norwood, MA for my entire life, and chose to attend UMass Amherst through the Isenberg School of Management. Through this page, I'd like to provide a little context about myself and something that I am passionate about.

Ever since I was a little kid, football has always been a passion for me. However, despite my love for the game, I wasn't the most talented athete. I was the kicker for my high school team, but also took reps at quarterback and outside linebacker. I was definitley not one of the best players in terms of talent, but I gave my best effort everyday, earning me a captain spot on the freshman and JV team.

After bouncing around a variety of different positions, I decided it was time to hang up the cleats by my junior year. Yet, I didn't let this take me away from my passion. I actively follow the NFL and NCAA, and love making things interesting by participating in Fantasy Football. I find great enjoyment and excitement in doing research on players prior to the weekend's matchup. To me, it makes each game a lot more exciting knowing that there is always something on the line per game.

As a finance major, I aspire to one day work in a corporate finance position in the NFL. Although this may be a long shot, I hope to work with the game I am so passionate about. Because of this, I have considered adding Sports Management as a double major.
