Tom Schaeffer

Welcome to our site! My name is Tom Schaeffer, and I am the founder of re:Formation. I am also the Lead Pastor of Threshold Church, a mission congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. I have a passion for leadership, discipleship, mission, and a good glass of beer.

I have been a pastor in the ELCA for almost 25 years and have served in a variety of ministry contexts. In addition, I am a Certified Beer Server through the Beer Cicerone Program and the president of the Glass City Mashers, a home-brew club in the greater Toledo area, and a rabid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

I reside in Perrysburg, OH with my wife Karen. We have two grown daughters, Lauren and Anna
