I was born in Hungary, where the innovation capability came from lot of talents, most of them left the country and they built their carriers all over the world and some of them got Nobel-Prizes..

What do Vitamin C, Rubik’s Cube and Zsa Zsa Gabor have in common?

Did you know that native Hungarians and scientists of Hungarian origin received a Nobel Prize on more than 20 occasions? Or that the Rubik's cube is a Hungarian invention? Have you ever wondered who invented the match? Hungary has quite a few famous natives and inventions under its belt: Hungarian inventions include the safety match (János Irinyi), the first electric motor (Ányos Jedlik), the Ford Model T (József Galamb), the first nuclear reactor (Leo Szilard), Rubik's cube (Ernő Rubik), the ballpoint pen (László Bíró), Vitamin-C (Albert Szent-Györgyi), the hydrogen bomb (Edward Teller), the binocular (József Petzvál) and digital computing (John von Neumann), to mention only the most famous creations.

My European innovation prizes as innovator are originated also out of my home country, through my maltese company.

Now, i living in Switzerland, Switzerland remained the most innovative nation in the world in the 2013 Global Innovation Index, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the French business school INSEAD, and Cornell University.

The human is a creative being, something that our highly-tuned brains, afford us with astonishing results. Fostering creativity stems from one’s devotion to follow our penchant for out-of-the-box thinking and innovation, hailing from the creative and imaginative command center of the brain – the right brain.

When one spends their life trying desperately to fit nicely inside a mold, the world is robbed of a critical opportunity to acquire something that could serve to enliven and advance life. It is the natural state of all life to “do”. When that “doing” meets increased awareness and cognitive ability, the breath of all existence is expelled. This is my justification for honing myself.

What are some ways that you nurture creativity in your life? Each day see if there is at least one instance where you can exercise your right brain creativity muscles. Imagination and playfulness are not just for children...
