Hi! I'm Theresa.

My perfect day starts with coffee, lots of coffee, followed by an adrenaline filled hour at the gym singing along to Daddy Yankee, Drake, Nina Simone, Pink Floyd and ending with Bach. After I'll rush home and make a mean breakfast, read, and study Spanish (perfect world here!). Later on I head out with friends to chat, laugh, and dance the night away.

Unlike my fantasy world, I’m living the grad student lifestyle (school, work, Prac I, internship, etc..). Although busy, I'm loving it! I'm focusing on Secondary Education in English with an endorsement in ESL.

In my past life I received my bachelors degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, in Spanish and in Communication. After graduation I spent a few years in Chicago doing advertising. After two years, I quit my job and moved to Honduras where I taught English for one of the best years of my life, and realized that I was going to be a teacher "when I grew up."
