Tlangelani Rikhotso
Student and Tutor in Johannesburg, Kingsway Auckland Park Campus
I am Brenda Rikhotso, a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree (Senior and FET Phase) at the University of Johannesburg. I specialize in Geography and Life Sciences, and I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning environments that promote critical thinking and real-world problem-solving. I have taught in diverse and under-resourced schools, where I use creative, shoestring approaches to ensure that all learners can access and enjoy the learning process. I am also deeply interested in how the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is reshaping education, and I strive to integrate future-oriented skills such as digital literacy, adaptability, and collaboration into my teaching practices. My goal is to become a transformative educator who not only teaches but empowers learners to think critically, care deeply, and act responsibly in a rapidly changing world.
