Laura Beth Taylor

I identify myself as a "Progressive Christian Trans-Lesbian" - an identity that resonates with a few people but honestly leaves most scratching their heads. I've spent most of my adult life working in Christian Ministry. I have a BAS in interdisciplinary studies from Dallas Baptist University and prior to that studied Bible and communications at Moody Bible Institute. In 2014 I affirmed my gender identity and began to transition my gender expression.

I'm currently working toward a MA in Counseling Psychology, self-publishing my first book and working on various research projects. I have a huge passion for seeing the gap between the church and the LGBT+ community closed and am available for speaking engagements or guest blog posts.
