TLC Community Credit Union

TLC is always striving to serve our members and community as much as possible. We value each member's input as an equal owner in the credit union. We work for our members, not stockholders. This allows us to offer flexible loan terms, low-cost accounts and higher dividends to help you achieve and maintain financial wellness.

Back in 1956, employees of the Tecumseh Products Company created the credit union and gave us our first name: Tecumseh Products Employees Credit Union. Our office was in the lunchroom with the late Beth Brown as the only credit union staff member.

The credit union quickly grew to serve all Tecumseh residents and then all of Lenawee County, thus becoming TLC Community Credit Union (TLC = Tecumseh - Lenawee County). With additional growth, we now serve the Michigan counties of Lenawee, Monroe, Hillsdale, Jackson and Washtenaw.

TLC has nine locations, is serving 50,000+ members, and is listed in the top 200 healthiest credit unions in the nation. We're full-service, offering the financial solutions members need to succeed.
