Writer / Dental Hygienist in Atlanta, Georgia

Read my book

How does a dental hygienist become a writer? Easily, my first love is writing. Besides think of all the fantastic characters I can steel from my patient’s personalities. They always share more than I really want to hear.

In the spring of 2014, I became the full-time caregiver of my dad, an experience I wouldn’t trade for winning the lotto. Taking a leave of absence, I now had the time to devote to writing a novel. Dad was well enough to bounce ideas back and forth. Whenever he smiled or laughed, and then commented, I kept the character. Although I am a romance writer, my novels are peppered with humor. Secrets I’ve Been Keeping was published in 2015, and shortly after, I began the sequel, Secrets Revealed, which was published in 2016. Both novels continue to hold a five-star rating.

My number one fan, dad, held his new copy of Secrets Revealed to his chest as I read from another. This was enough for the two of us, as he was too weak to focus. My father passed in the fall of 2016, a couple of months after I gave him his copy of Secrets Revealed.

Am I writing a third novel in the series? Yes, Secret Signature is at the tail-end of the editing process. All three novels are full of love, gossip, romance, intrigue, and you guessed it, secrets. I’ve written them so they can be read in sequence or separately if one happens to be found on an empty train seat.

What next? Another series, of course. Stay tuned for additional steamy romance novels by me, T L Henry.
