Tlhonolofatso Lepota is currently a student at one of the best universities in South Africa, University of Johannesburg. She was a learner at Jet Nteo Secondary School before she got here, she has always seen education as the key to success, in high school she was part of the study groups, always willing to learn more. She has always enjoyed being in the classroom, and slowly but surely she discovered her passion for teaching and learning and that's why she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. It was through hard work and dedication that she got in this university. And she is now doing her third year, so far it has been an exciting and wonderful journey. Through my studies, I've developed strong research and analysis skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. I'm in a debate team, and that has helped me to be able to communicate persuasive arguments, think on my feet, and respond quickly to new information. This experience has also boosted my confidence a lot because I'm now a confident individual who isn't afraid of being challenged and stepping out of her comfort zone. There is a quote I live by, written by Leonardo Da Vinci: "Learning never exhausts the mind." As long as you keep learning, you become knowledgeable, and your mind will never get tired. That's why I'm always open to learning new things because intelligence is attractive and I enjoy sharing my opinions when serious topics are being discussed. That makes me believe I will be a great teacher, because not only will my learners learn from me, but I will also learn from them. In that way we will build each other.
