BIO: T.L. excelled in both graduate and post graduate courses in Psychology, and marketing at the University of Central Florida. Thereafter, she co-founded Discovery Academy which soon became an award winning alternative school for the arts and sciences for pre-K though grade 8, garnering top ranks in AP & IB prep, with math scores in the U.S. and top 2% in world competition Under T.L’s direction, Discovery was the first to offer drama, debate video production classes and hands on stock market competition for 4th-8th graders.

Teresa also established a 501C3 Scholarship fund to help those economically disadvantaged. This compassion and "no celling" curriculum may be two of the reasons she was nominated for an Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001 by the SBA and another reason many of her students and friends call her “Mother Teresa.”

Teresa is an unapologetic workaholic,a motivator, driven to write, with a true love of learning, including a fascination with the study of history, quantum physics, and the DNA connection to cellular memory. She believes much of Rebirth came from such memories. She always felt that writing is “in her genes.” In fact, she shares well-documented multiple generation great grandparents with writers Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott, Robert Graves, Alfred Lord Tennyson and Sir Walter Scott.

Teresa is well versed in many subjects and genres, but above all — she is driven to write passionate stories that entertain, enlighten and excite, that push us from our comfort zones, to alter the way we think, feel and view the world. Her goal is to make films that people will talk about long after the theater experience. “Rebirth” is one of those provocative stories.

She has garnered over a dozen screenwriting awards, with five first-place wins and recommends for “Rebirth” alone.
