I am a well-educated Saskatchewan native with a passion for innovative solutions to today's environmental problems.
I have a formal education in biology from the University of Saskatchewan and renewable energy and conservation from Lakeland College among other minor credentials. My academic interests lie primarily in plant biology, environmental reclamation, carbon sequestration technologies, and alternative energy.
One of my hobbies include DIY projects using upcycled materials. I have turned this hobby into an online small business called Pallet YXE. In my spare time I like to build unique items from old wood scavenged primarily from old pallets and finish them using recycled paint and stains. These items can be found at http://www.palletyxe.ca.
Other hobbies I have include papermaking, gardening, travelling, alternative medicine, and blogging.
