I approach book publishing as one element in fostering a community of knowledge and pushing forward the practices of rhetoric, persuasion, and analysis in communication. Before embarking on a career in publishing, I studied ancient intellectual history at Chicago in the College and the Committee on the Ancient Mediterranean World.

I live in Chicago but no matter where you meet me, it's likely that I arrived there by bike.
