Dr Samuel Kim is an Australian trained specialist Maxillofacial surgeon with medical and dental degrees from both New South Wales and Queensland. He also has a Masters in Medicine degree in medical research. Dr Kim holds multiple hospital appointments including Prince of Wales Public Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Canberra Private Hospital and John Hunter Hospital.

Dr Kim specialises in all aspects of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and is one of the few Maxillofacial surgeons in Australia to regularly perform TMJ surgeries, from arthroscopes to joint replacements. After obtaining his specialist qualification, Dr Kim has spent further 12 months in TMJ surgery fellowship at the St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is currently the only medically and dentally trained maxillofacial surgeon in NSW with 12 month fellowship in TMJ surgery.

Dr Kim has a special interest in minimally-invasive TMJ surgeries, including total TMJ replacement surgeries without neck scars. He is actively involved in teaching as well as research at the University of NSW and affiliated hospitals.
