Tom Porter

Fairfield, CT

I am a Connicticut native by way of Cincinnati and the University of Georgia where I was selected to join the staff of The Dean Rusk (former Secretary of State for the Kennedy and Johnson administrations) Center as it researched the feasibility of the transition of Rhodesia to Zimbabwe. You all know how well that worked out! I was a member of the tennis team that was SEC Champion and ranked third nationally. Big Brother to Pi Phi sorority.

New York City beckoned and I was lucky enough to live on the Upper-East Side and work for Xerox and Shearson, Lehman, American Express under the guidance of the great Sandy Weil.

I then migrated to Fairfield, CT. where I met my wife, Cathy. We have a tremendous son, Thomas III who is now in his third year at Northeastern University.

I am a failed guitar player, lover of The Georgia Bulldogs and The Mets and a history buff. Sorry, I do not like the great outdoors, walking in the woods or communing with nature. Oh, I guess I better mention that I love spending time with my family because it seems that so many people feel compelled to mention that.
