Toby Karass-Rohan

I am a writer and visual artist specializing in filmmaking and painting.

I have a college diploma in Arts, Literature, and Communications, and I am on track to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Media Production at Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media with a concentration in TV & Video Production.

My current projects include a sci-fi feature film as well as a sci-fi miniseries, a supernatural thriller short film, and a collection of short stories.

I aspire to create and produce original visual art including, but not limited to, films, TV series, and paintings.

My professional experience is comprised of screenwriting, working various positions on set for scripted/studio productions and working live events, playing live music as a singer, guitarist, bassist and pianist. I also have a background in customer service, student affairs, textile production, and media & marketing management.

In my free time, I love watching movies and television, as I’m always looking for something new and exciting to watch, while simultaneously going back to the classics time and time again. I enjoy spending time with my dog Jojo, painting abstract art and dabbling in various kinds of photography.
