Toby Meltzer

With more than three decades of experience in medicine, Dr. Toby Meltzer owns and manages his own clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he focuses on plastic and reconstructive surgery, including male-to-female and female-to-male gender confirmation procedures. Before establishing his practice, he studied medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, from which he graduated with honors. Dr. Toby Meltzer subsequently completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the Charity Hospital of Louisiana. Moreover, he fulfilled a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery through the University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship in burn surgery at Detroit Receiving Hospital.

In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Toby Meltzer served as an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. He previously functioned as the chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Portland.
