I can remember when I was a baby, tinkling on the keys of my Grandparent's piano. I went on to blow the recorder and then had a bad scrape with a violin. When I was about 7 years old, my parents got me a flute. As the story goes, everone in the family could get a sound out of it except for me. I got there in the end though under the tuition of Sarah Newbold.Round about 1991, I started making music at Pimlico school on an Atari - and on a PC my Dad had bought with a piece of notation software called Personal Composer. We worked together on some songs and would go into studios to record using reel to reel tape, the Yamaha DX7 and other bits and bobs.

When I moved out of my parents', I built up a small home studio. Working with my first singer was a big learning curve. We put together some R'n'B tracks, creating jingles for radio DJs to help get airplay.

Under the alias Mystroe I went on to work with numerous singers, rappers and reggae artists, amassing hundreds of tracks and multiple albums. I was working on alot more genres at this time (2004) and Garage music was doing pretty well. Lo and behold collaborations with singer songwriter Oggie took off with the underground hit You.

Over the last few years I've composed for film and theatre. Right now my main project is Blow 'em Away! The Musical, coming soon..
