Having spent time working at Westminster, amongst other things doing press work for Members of Parliament, I cycled from Stoke on Trent to Singapore via Siberia - a mine of writing opportunities. On arriving in Singapore after ten months on the road, I was not ready to return. So, I turned to teaching English in Taiwan and quite by accident, spent nine years there. During that time I wrote up my adventures and got married.
Now returned to the UK, I'm working as a freelance writer and editor.
