I had always been encouraged to travel so at the age of 22 I headed out from New Zealand on a 2 year trip to see the world. That was a while ago and I'm still going, still traveling. The bug that bit me left its mark thats for sure as my passion for travel has never subsided.

I began writing about my journeys and sending them home via postcards, letters, and later, emails; hundreds of them. All the adventures, mishaps, wonder, and encounters of being on the road, chronicled and now laying in the attic of my family home in Auckland.
