I was born and raised in Columbia SC, and I have become very resentful of this state... there are people I never want to see again, there are things I never want to hear about again, and their are personalities I never want to encounter again. I know there are going to be issues wherever someone lives, but I am just ready to try something else... see what else is out there... I have always wanted to go to South Africa, but with flight costs/vaccination costs and issues, its not going to happen this go round. BUT I am pretty sure I have found the next best thing. I leave for Naalehu, Hawaii on August 21st. I am going to be working on a farm called Paradise Meadows. www.paradisemeadows.com and boy, am I looking forward to it.

I will be leaving behind my amazing boyfriend Ashton, over the past three years he has given me so much support. And as I enter this new chapter in my life, he will focus on finishing up school in South Carolina. I am so proud of him for finding his direction and going for it. In Hawaii, I hope to do the same.
