Tod Brock
Fiddle Player
I was 9 when my mom traded a radio with my grandfather for a cheap student violin. By 13, I was ready to quit, but a compromise of “just one more year” kept me practicing. That “one more year” has resulted in a lifelong passion spanning over four decades.
Inspired by my parents’ love for Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Music, I left the world of classical training and replaced my violin strings for fiddle “strangs”. These days, I mostly play at home, occasionally sharing recordings on social media. But you might also catch me at jams or filling in with local Bluegrass bands.
