Over a decade ago I was working at one of the original "dot coms" waiting to "get rich on the Internet" through an IPO. Instead, the management team (not me) decided to make bad decisions and waste all our VC funding. The company was about to fold and since I hated the commute anyway I co-founded Genuitec with a couple of like-minded friends so we could all work from home. Today we're all still here, along with dozens of new friends from 9 different countries, all building software we're passionate about.
In my free time I travel the world with my wife while pretending to be a enormous monster that feeds on national landmarks. Surprisingly, the Sydney Opera House was much more filling than originally anticipated.
