Todd Bailey
Todd was hired by the Tempe Police Department in August of 1997 after graduating from Arizona State University with a Justice Studies Degree. After gaining experience as a Patrol & Field Training Officer, Todd transferred to the Criminal Investigations Bureau in 2001. Serving as a Property Crimes Detective, Robbery Detective and Assault Detective, Todd settled in the Computer Forensics Unit in 2006.
He attended the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) training program in June 2007 and earned their Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) certification in July 2008. Todd further gained certifications from Guidance Software (EnCE) and CompTIA (Network+, A+) and has over 700 hours of computer forensic related training. Todd remains an active part of IACIS serving as a Peer Coach since 2009.
In 2009 Todd's responsibilities at the City of Tempe grew as he joined the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit. In 2010 Todd was certified as a Bomb Technician by the National Bomb Squad Commander's Advisory Board. Todd has served in the primary role of a Computer Forensic Detective (June 2006) and part time Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician since June 2010.
