Consultant, Public Speaker, and Meeting Facilitator in Meridian, Idaho
Leader, Trainer, Author, Meeting Facilitator & Strategic Planner
With a Master's degree in International Management, I have more than two decades of leadership experience helping organizations in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors grow and fulfill their missions. My specializations include Change Management and Strategic Planning. I am seeking professional opportunities to work with leaders and organizations seeking strategic planning, meeting facilitator, change management, or related consulting.
I authored Planning for Awesome: 7 Steps to Ensure Your Strategic Planning Session Turns out Awesome in 2018. This booklet provides practical and insightful step-by-step guidance to new and experienced strategic planning meeting leaders.
I also authored Everyday Money for Everyday People (2014) and facilitate hundreds of workshops annually to thousands of individuals motivating them to build the fundamentals of effective household money management.
I have served as secretary to the board of directors of the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE). I have also served 3 times as president of the Idaho Jump$tart Coalition, and chaired the AFCPE Ethics Committee. I regularly volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America and continue to serve on the program coordinating committees of 3 Idaho housing authorities.
My professional fulfillment and satisfaction come from helping nonprofits to identify what their success looks like and to develop roadmaps to reach that success.
My published articles and booklets have addressed topics ranging from marriage and money to raising financially smart children, from recovering from bankruptcy to controlling holiday spending.
My first masters degree was in French Studies, and I lived in Mexico for two years as a volunteer for my church. My fluency in Spanish and French have contributed to my expertise in consulting, my ability to see and approach challenges from multiple angles, and to understand and promote healthy corporate cultures.
