Todd Donatello

Todd's Career:

In the early 2000's, Todd worked as an internal auditor for TD Bank where he specialized in audits of systems of internal control over deposit operations, wealth management, and employee benefits.

In 2004, Todd went to work for CPA firm Baker, Newman, & Noyes, overseeing financial statement audits of small- to medium-sized Maine businesses in a variety of industries. Todd later brought his talents to BerryDunn, the largest regional accounting firm in Northern New England. While at BerryDunn, Todd served as auditor-in-charge for clients ranging from credit unions to small community banks to large, publicly-traded commercial banks with assets in excess of $2.3 billion and continued to deepen his expertise in employee benefit plans. Todd is well-versed in the arena of internal controls over financial reporting, as promulgated by Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

In 2010, Todd finally left public accounting to begin the next phase of his career - parlaying his audit and accounting background to became an internal consultant at a large, not-for-profit managed care organization headquartered in Portland, Maine. Over the next 9 months, Todd designed and participated in the implementation of an new Enterprise Risk Management program, led several ad hoc process improvement projects, and served as Finance lead for a Medicare financial audit and major new commercial insurance product launch – defining and documenting a variety of business requirements for system configuration – all while getting a crash course in health care administration.

Todd transitioned to a Compliance role in an international manufacturing firm in 2012, and managed projects related to FAR/DFARS compliance in the supply chain and job cost accounting, before becoming a Controller and CFO for a golf course management firm in Maine.

Today, Todd draws on his experiences in business as consulting manager for Gray, Gray, and Gray, a public accountant and consultancy firm in Massachusetts, specializing in implementations of the Sage Intacct ERP.
