My name is Todd I am a born geek. 25 years ago I was with my Commodore 64 with two disk drives, a tape drive a plotter and a Black and White monitor writing 30,000 lines of BASIC code to make a program to pick football game winners. I was 13, had played soccer all my life and spent endless hours on my computer. 15 years ago I was on every beach on the east coast playing volleyball. At age 14 I started to play and be coached at Charlotte Beach in Rochester. I thrived playing doubles, and spent most of the next 15 years playing non stop, training and traveling the east coast to events and pro qualifiers with my partners. 5 years ago, I was in the middle of falling back in love with computers. I pursued IT originally, getting 5 Microsoft certifications, COmpTIA's A+ certification and a newer Google Adwords Professional certification. while learning programming, web design and building database driven websites. I have lived full time off of online income for about 9 years now. I have worked in search and internet marketing while building my own online empires of affiliate sites and commission driving revenue sites. 5 weeks ago, I reentered the workforce after 9 years of being my own boss in marketing. I began working at CGR Creative as their Online Marketing Director. I found out the skills I had spent 9 years perfecting and my love on selling online has a real marketable value in the corporate world. I Do all site planning, social media strategies and search optimization for the client base at CGR Creative in Charlotte, NC. SEO, PPC and social media strategy is what I would be doing even if at home on a weekend. Nothing more appealing to my logical tendencies than an algorithm that decides who wins and who loses in the new world of non-brick and mortar business. Anything can be sold online if you think like your customers will. Anticipate what your customers will search for and lay the traps for their desired outcome. It took my 1500 characters to remember that I have a life outside of search marketing...
