Todd Poole, Co-Founder and Managing Partner with Red Dome Group, is a seasoned political and governmental affairs veteran with nearly 15 years of professional experience. Poole served as Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, who represents the Fifth District of North Carolina, for more than five years on Capitol Hill. Before being promoted to Chief of Staff in March 2007, Poole served as Deputy Chief of Staff and District Director for nearly three years. Additionally, Poole served as campaign manager for Congresswoman Foxx’s successful re-election campaigns in 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2012. Prior to joining Foxx’s staff, Poole served as a North Carolina Field Representative on the Bush/Cheney 2004 campaign, where he managed grassroots operations in North Carolina. Poole has also consulted, managed and volunteered for many federal, state and local campaigns including managing Jay Helvey’s congressional campaign. As a first time candidate in a crowded primary, Helvey raised $1.4 million. Poole began his career with six- years of service as an assistant to then-Rep. Richard Burr, where he worked in both his Washington and District offices. During his time with Burr, Poole managed issues pertaining to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. DOJ, EPA and U.S.P.S. In addition, he served as a liaison between constituents and local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community, consumer and non-profit organizations. Poole earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Appalachian State University.
