PROFESSIONAL

Animus Rex is the company I founded 20 years ago. We do online strategy and high-end web development mostly for large professional services firms and non-profits. One of my favorite projects over the years is TheCityCook.com, which is a wonderful site about urban cooking in small kitchens with great ingredients.

Prior to Animus Rex, I worked at Morgan Stanley for 5 years, first as a graphic artist, then art director, then created and ran their worldwide media events department, which handled 850+ events/year (yikes!).

YOGA

I teach Vinyasa at Yoga Vida in New York City.

My belief is that yoga brings awareness and harmony to the body, mind and soul through breath, movement and energy. Yoga has transformed my life and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow and teach at such a great studio. Namaste!

MUSIC

I started taking piano lessons at age 7, but I hated practicing and just wanted to go outside and climb trees! By the time I was 12, I had switched to drums (which were much more fun!), and by 16, I was performing professionally with several regional acts. I've played everything from classical to jazz to polka (not saying I'm proud), but my heart is in alternative rock. In New York, I've played with Second Lucy, Chancer, Red Flag Fleet, Dangerous Cousins, and my most recent project, Goodbye Berlin. Music=Love!

THE SEA

For many years, I owned a classic cruising sailboat and explored the US Northeast waters! My family now owns a trawler and the adventures continue. Exploring new and exciting places makes for amazing memories!
