Todd Richter
Director in New York
Healthcare industry financial businessman Todd Richter knows the importance of education and the foundation that it provides upon entering any career. Specifically, his career. Following decades of success achieved after earning an invaluable education, Richter recently infused funding into his two alma maters, sharing the wealth and value with others who also can benefit from his successes.
Richter recently extended a $5 million endowment in perpetuity to his undergraduate college, William & Mary University located in Virginia. He graduated in 1979 with a business degree. This recently created endowment is directed to the school’s thriving golf program. Richter credits the William & Mary golf program with teaching him lessons far more valuable than hitting the ball properly; he notes that the program’s coach and his instruction about instinct, priorities and focusing under pressure aided him immensely once in the professional world.
Richter also provided an estate commitment valued over $5 million to the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Richter graduated in 1981 with his Masters of Business Administration. The Kelley School truly provided Richter with the specific education for his long-held career and Richter remains committed to the institution in a variety of ways, including recruiting efforts and mentorships for students in his field.
