Todd Stringer
Todd is a seasoned photographer with more than 20 years of experience. He has spent his career creating a diverse portfolio using traditional photography as a base while utilizing new technology to further his creative art. Todd earned a degree in photography from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on portraiture and alternative imaging. While attending he served as tutor and school representative through admissions recruiting and gallery functions. Begining a career in photojournalism, Todd worked for several daily and weekly family owned and corporate driven publications including newspapers and magazines. Starting out in Virginia and West Virginia shooting sports, news and feature photographs he made his way to Pennsylvania to photograph professional sports for the Associated Press and business portraits for a monthly executive magazine. Todd's strengths are creating quality alternative portraits with a timeless and unique perspective, focusing on the subject's image and desired result. From 1998 to 2009 Todd photographed entrepreneurs and CEO's as Staff Photographer for Nashville Business Journal.
He has spent the last 15 years becoming familiar with his middle Tennessee surroundings, focusing on editorial images and lifestyle portraits. Todd, his Wife Stacy and son Jackson live in the historic Sylvan Park neighborhood in West Nashville with their two terriers "Flick" and "Mojo".
