Born 1954 at Lancaster royal infirmary, Lancashire Father a squaddie so moved around all my early childhood. Last posting Malta. Old man left the army 1968/69. Family breaks up 1969 1 brother 2 sisters and myself end up in child care. Siblings a lot younger than me and were all fostered out. I hated life in the kids home so applied for a course with the RFA as a galley boy. RMS wray castle in the lake district. From there I got a job as assistant manager at Hotel, live in (assistant manager should read General dogs body and below the kitchen porter in pecking order. 1972 joined army 1972 left army. Medically downgraded after hit and run accident oh by the way I wasn't the run character. Did a few jobs and returned to the army in 1974. It took the army 10 and a half years to discover I wasn't much use as a squaddie. Heavy drinker most of my life. woke up one morning in November 1994 and found I couldn't shave I was shaking so much asked for help and got a ton of it. Even so it took me a futher14 years to achieve my record no boozefor 5 years and still going. Married but living apart Love my mrs so much it hurts. She has always been there for me and still is.
