Konstantin Tönnesmann
Management Consultant in Zürich, Switzerland
Originally from Germany, I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, before leaving for the United Kingdom for University. My current home is Switzerland. Living in an international environment has always been what I value most.
My education in Engineering, Economics and Management (EEM, MEng) at the University of Oxford has given me a strong technology focus across engineering specialisations, whilst stirring an interest in the business and organizational impact thereof from the outset.
My professional career as a part of Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice in Switzerland has allowed me to build my skills portfolio further. Over the last 5 years, I have developed expertise across business transformation topics in a range of industries from Consumer and Industrial Products to Life Sciences. My main focus is on the design of effective service delivery organizations through operating model transformation, built around value levers of growth and cost. I have cross-functional expertise in IT, Procurement and Supply Chain, with a strong understanding of and academic curiosity in the impact of new technologies and innovation.
Apart from my academic and professional interest in science and technology, I face world affairs and politics with great enthusiasm and also enjoy being active outdoors. In the past this has led me to undertake work at, for example, the German Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai and be part of a volunteering initiative in Tanzania.
I am very happy to connect. Please find me on LinkedIn.
