Toinette Vizard
Toinette is a Florida native. She grew up with loving and open parents, as well as an older brother, all of whom have been extremely supportive of her expressive journey. She has performed on stage and studied performance at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and Lee Strasberg’s Film and Theatre Institute in New York City. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Dramatic Art. She has been writing since childhood and has produced and directed her own plays and performance pieces. In 2012, she completed her first inspirational book, The Heart of Miracles and is working on her second book, which is a memoir. At the beginning of 2013, Toinette decided to launch a blog where she could share her thoughts and opinions about the female experience in America and the fight for gender equality.
She is happily married and draws upon her own life and the people in it to create these inspirational articles.
