As a teacher I must be aware of the different learning styles and barriers to learning my learners have, because it will help me to choose the correct methods of teaching during the lesson and that will help me to improve strongly on my pedagogical content knowledge. I will be a role model and give pastoral care to the learners so that they can be inspired to work hard in life and have a connection with me. I aim to be a teacher that is able to connect with the learners out of the classroom context. I will create a safe learning environment, so that learners can feel safe in the classroom during lessons. I will provide learners with enough tools they can use to advance in their own society. I will behave professional and show dedication to my learners and my work, this will help with the long-life learning, because I believe in continuous development as a teacher I will not stop learning. I will improve on lesson planning and time management as I have experienced the importance of time management and planning another thing it is important that I assess learners on the things that I have taught them.
I will lead by example and be fair at all times with the learners, meaning I will not be bias. In terms of classroom management, at the beginning of the year I will make sure to set the classroom rules with the learners so that they what is acceptable and what is unacceptable.
I value the assessment standards, I will not assess learners on the content I never taught them and I will always make sure that my question papers accommodate the different levels of assessment, meaning in short questions for example multiple choice which falls under recalling and long questions that maybe essays that falls under application and understanding.
