Passive and Direct Unautherized Euthanasia are Crimes Against Humanity and need and should be prosecuted as such.
I want to bring to the the Worlds' attention an ongoing agenda on unauthorized euthanasia (passive or direct) that in my opinion may be affecting the Vancouver Downtown Eastside area Residents that are Destitute, Transgendered, Gay, Mentally ill, Disabled, Seniors, First Nations, Addicted to drugs, alone and destitute that are made vulnerable by a system trying to save a buck and that systemically discriminates and undermines their value of life, whatever condition it may be in. Whether this is being done directly or by failing to provide proper services and care. These said peoples' are suffering vastly by discrimination and abuse and denial of the peoples Right to Life and the Rights affored to them, as guarantied by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights`, that is nothing less than Crimes Against Humanity.
I believe this may be happening more widespread, besides the downtown eastside, but the downtown eastside residents are targeted and abused for being vulnerable based on plainly their demographics.
It is so heartbreaking that Toli my brother passed on, at an early age of 55 on November 2, 2014
Despite of Tolis’ handicaps, Toli made the best of each and every minute and day he had.
It is so sad that the system failed Toli, as he continuously reached out for help and treatment, but he was deemed un-cooperative, since he was mentally ill and did not lose weight, nor quit smoking and they proceeded not to provide the necessary life saving treatments / care he desperately required.
Instead, Toli was put on palliative, only given medications and comfort in hydromorphone, given limited care at home and left to die in his own urine and excrement.
By default Tolis’ life was deemed not worth saving, as he was mentally ill and he had real physical issues needing attention with life saving procedures and full care, and all of that was denied to him, despite in the systems ability to deliver this care to Toli.
Unfortunately, a system that is designed by default to help and save people like Toli, has done the exact opposite, but not by mistake.
In no laughing matter, this is a Greek tragedy.
