Tolulope Amusan is an Author, a fashion and beauty entrepreneur. She is the Chief Executive Officer at the Eso Ara Company. A company she founded officially in 2012. The Eso Ara Company (Meaning: Body Treasure Company) is an Ace fashion jewelry brand in Nigeria which also doubles as a social enterprise.
The Eso Ara brand is often associated with quality and finesse. Eso Ara products are being used by some of the finest regional and international celebrities in the motion pictures and music industries of NIGERIA (Nollywood). Eso Ara accessories have been used on some of the set of the highest grossing Nollywood movies such as The wedding party, Chief Daddy, King of Boys, Moms at War, The set-up, just to mention a few. The Products have global appeal and are being used locally and internationally.
In her effort to empower other women to become financially free she started the EsoAra Resellers Program in 2014. A wholesale and mentorship platform to assist other women build their jewelry brands as they leverage the unique range of designs sold at EsoAra. A total of 60women in 10 states of Nigeria, the United Kingdom and United States have benefitted from this program in the past.
She is the founder of the Make-A-Future-Initiative(MAF), an initiative powered by Eso Ara. MAF is an initiative that reaches out to teenage boys and girls in marginalised communities through a unique approach of skill-based learning, girl-child education and experience sharing. MAF has trained more than 300 girls and mentors 25 girls actively yearly to choose better ideals.
Before 2015, Tolu became an alumnus of the prestigious AFRICAN Youth and governance convergence, the continents premier leadership grooming community. She represented NIGERIA at the forum in Ghana, Zambia and South Africa, In 2012, 2014 and 2016.
In 2015, she was invited to Ethiopia to promote girl child education at the AFRICAN Union headquarters in Addis Ababa.
In 2016, she was nominated for the JCI TOYP award in Business Economic Category. In 2017 and 2018, she was Youth Bridge foundation’s delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York, USA. .
In 2019, after moving to the United States, she started the beauty arm of her business empire called Helen's Beauty Place in Dallas, Texas. She is married to Olusola Amusan and they are blessed with two adorabe girls.
