I started my career as a glass collector in a local pub in my hometown in Kildare. My journey began when I moved to London managing my first Irish pub at the age of 18. For the last 10 years I have travelled to work in the US, Caribbean and the UK. With the experience of launching and redeveloping properties from 5* hotels to high volume Irish restaurants.

With a passion for cocktailing & the art of bartending in 2012 I team up with a videographer to promote the bartenders in Ireland, bartending events and cocktails as a side interest.

In early 2016, I took a few months off work to build a purpose built bar studio to invite bartenders nationally to have a space they could showcase their creativity. The Bartender Project was founded as a limited company.

Since its commencement in mid july - The Bartender Project has collectively experienced over 6.5 million views internationally showcasing (at present) Irish bartenders.

In 2017, the intention is to grow The Bartender Project platform by connecting internationally with bartenders and travelling to capture their work. There are plans to develop a Dublin based creative centre for Bartenders to gain access to a bar library, training & development rooms, tasting areas and bedrooms for bartenders that will be travelling to visit.
