As a graduate from Sheffield's MArch course, user-centricity and the simultaneous development of design, construction and material are strong principles. I believe in iterative and multi-scaled design development and the unrivalled exploratory and explanatory potential of the physical model.
My 6th Year studio was the 'standout unit' in the Architect's Journal's review of Sheffield's 2013 degree show.
I was part of the team that designed and built the container-top education space in Ecclesall Woods, Sheffield, which was shortlisted for the AJ Small Projects Award in 2012.
Whilst working at Bennetts Associates I was fortunate enough to work on Marble Arch House, a high profile mixed use development comprising many different uses and scales and incorporating both new build and refurbishment.
I won the bronze medal at the RIBA Yorkshire White Rose Student Awards in 2010.
