I've seen every year of the '70s which was a good decade if you can overlook the exuberant fashion. Life at that time in Ireland was all about close family ties and lively community activities. Having attended technical high school, I later pursued a bachelors degree of science in math and physics which resulted in me graduating in 1992 into a depressed economy & long before the celtic tiger emerged.

Living and studying in Germany for three years gave me a very good grasp of the language and a rudimentary knowledge of philosophy; the science of thinking. Undertaking a course in engineering technology I discovered a passion for engineering that persists to this day.
