Enabling Enterprise grew out of my experience of teaching in Hackney in East London as part of the Teach First programme. Addressing a gap I saw in my classroom, we work to ensure that one day, every student will leave school equipped with the full set of employability skills, experiences of the world, and aspirations to be successful.

We do this by bringing the world of work into the classroom through a series of lesson-time projects, challenge days and trips out to our 25 business partners. Our business partners range from PwC to Hamleys toy shop and give the students a rounded sense of the world of work, and how their studies link to the "real world".

We're currently working with over 20,000 children and young people from the age of 6 through to 19 across 130 schools in England. Do get in touch if you're interested in finding out more, whether from the perspective of a teacher, a potential business supporter, or a job seeker.
